Sweetest Surrender (The Serafina: Sin City #3)

By Katie Reus

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sweetest Surrender is the third book of The Serafina: Sin City series but it can be read as a stand-alone too.

What if the only way to survive was to hide?

Meet Angel. Angel has been hiding from the life she once knew in order to survive. Working as a waitress at a restaurant in the Serafina Casino in Las Vegas, she’s trying to rely on herself, never allowing anyone to get too close to her until she meets Vadim.

Meet Vadim (a russian God!). Vadim is the quite type and Angel is attracted to him from the very beginning. He works security for the Serafina Casino and he's an expert at computers. Vadim is every woman's dream but for Angel he's proving to be her salvation. But is Angel ready to take a chance or will she run?

I loved loved this book but it was really short (ok not that short but I needed more!) It was an enjoyable read filled with suspense, action, romance, a spoiled dog with no qualms about showing who she loves and a hero with an accent. The book had two POVs and it was just incredible to see what these people were feeling. It also helped us understand why the acted as the did.

Highly recommended!
